Wine Not

Wine Not – a place where you can taste all the wines.

If you are a true wine lover, you will have raised a glass at least once in Wine Not. The story of the wine bar located on Petriashvili street began in 2019. Returning from Hungary, the both Nino decided to introduce the culture found in Budapest to Georgia – at the time was very rare to drink wine by the glass and enjoy it in a wine bar. The location is also symbolic – right next to Tbilisi’s number one winery.

The first customers were friends, who soon brought their friends, who brought their own, and thus the community of Wine not was formed. Every evening, the Ninos themselves hosted the guests and told them the stories of wine. Expats soon got to know this place and traveled all over Georgia with a glass of wine. The customer enthusiastically joined the loyalty program, where they put a stamp in the “passport” of Wine Not on the wine they tasted.

The great success was soon followed by the pandemic period, in which they soon adapted with gift boxes, online sales and outdoor picnics. The difficulties caused by the pandemic period were overcome so well that a new branch will be opened this year. The 300years old wine cellar found in Gudiashvili Square added a new concept to Wine Not – combining wine and food. They say that the cellar was not discovered by chance. Here you will also find the famous Wine Not piano, which does not lose its relevance. You can enjoy interesting music any day of the week.

Here, they believe that it was no coincidence that both Nino went to Budapest to get the Master degree, it was not a coincidence that there was a wine bar near their residence, where they discovered each other over a glass of wine, and they opened a bar in Tbilisi. In short, if you have not been to Wine Not, this is a sign that you should definitely visit it.
