This is where Aramex Georgia steps in, helping wine companies navigate these logistics challenges. In 2024, Aramex Georgia was recognized with exclusive logistics partner status from Decanter.
This recognition marks a significant achievement for the company, the result of years of fruitful collaboration.
“Over the years, we’ve shipped wines from various companies for Decanter’s competition. Each shipment was distinguished by high-quality packaging and meticulously prepared documentation, ensuring smooth customs procedures,” said Lika Usaneishvili, General Director.
“In 2023, Decanter proposed the initiative for us to become their exclusive logistics partner. After a long and detailed selection process, we signed an agreement that granted us this status.”
Additionally, in collaboration with Decanter, Aramex Georgia hosted a workshop for winemakers and wine company representatives, discussing topics related to transportation and participation in the competition.
Wine transportation is a particularly sensitive and complex process, requiring strict adherence to transport regulations and customs regulations in the countries to which the wine is shipped. “This is a challenging process, but Aramex Georgia ensures that wine companies can deliver their products to any part of the world within the desired timeframe,” Lika added.
